Thanks so much for your kind words 🙂 I am so happy to have finally started this blog after thinking about it for so long! Thank you for the suggestion of adding something so people can follow. I honestly could not figure out how to add GFC onto my blog but I did add feed burner. Hopefully that works 🙂 Thanks again!
I’m from the Hop. Would love to follow you! Do you have FB or Twitter or GFC or networked blogs?
Happy New Year!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I tried to add GFC and it wasn’t working so I ended up adding feedburner. Hopefully I can figure it out soon. Can’t wait to check out your blog! Happy New Year!
Love your blog! I can’t remember how I came across it, but you have a great ideas. I teach 6th grade science in NYC as well so it is fun to read your blog and try some of your ideas out in my class. I love how you share all of your templates with your readers. Great job!
Ooo thanks so much for the sweet comment! I am so glad you can use some of my activities! What are you teaching your 6th graders? I currently work on Long Island but my school is closing at the end of the year. I put in my NYC application and am hoping to hear in the coming months. Are you at a middle school or an elementary school?

When did this become so real and helpful and AMAZING?! You make me feel so bad for being such a lame math teacher! But I’m inspired every time 🙂 You know how I feel about manipulatives… #secondaryedproblems
OMG you are my math inspiration!! I love you!!!! So….guest post?! PLEASE SAY YES!!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog!!! I’ve been teaching 6th grade math for seven years, and nothing has been as cool as this!
Hello, I was given this website from another teacher to come and look because it was the best and obviously after looking it is! I am a special education student teacher teaching high school geometry. obvioulsy no one cares that I failed this in high shcool or that I am the worst in math. I was wondering if you or anyone had good activities for parallel lines and properties of and fiding missing angles. I stole the worksheet on transverse planes but was wondering if you had any more.
Love the website!
Thank you– Heather–
It is my first year teaching and I also teach 6th and 7th grade math. I am so thankful I found your blog! Your energy helping me to stay creative in the classroom. Keep up the good work! You go girl 🙂
P.S. If the weather is nice, you can always stuff problems in Easter Eggs and have an Easter Egg Hunt outside.
Just found your blog – I love all your ideas for math and science! I’m also slightly obsessed with foldables 🙂
Just found your Blog from Pinterest. I was introduced to foldables and my students are loving them. I just recently used your Transformation foldable and it worked great. it is surprising how just putting a simple foldable in front of them changes the whole concept of them. I have tried to save some of your pdf files but have been unable to save them. What program do you make your worksheets in? The borders and fonts are neat to look at. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Can you e-mail me your e-mail address so that I can send you the Starbucks card from Laura’s (Will grade for coffee) giveaway?
Congrats on winning!
Hey Kate, hope you are doing well. I get actually do all of my colored printing at school. We have two amazing colored printers (one for middle school teachers) and one in the school computer lab. I am fortunate to get it done there for free.
I was wondering how I get the free Fraction Foldables packet you had on your post for the first 2 people to comment.
SO jealous! Check your e-mail 🙂 I forgot to send them out! Thanks for the reminder!

I’m trying to find your word wall pictures that I heard were awesome. Where can I find them?
You totally need to be on Twitter! I need to stalk you there! 🙂
Hi, came across your blog via an email from E is for Explore-there was a link there for your To the square inch. I love your blog-I teach 3-5, but I can adapt some of your ideas. I was browsing through your archives and saw that we share an obsession-new markers! A handy tip, store them with caps down, that way the “ink” stays near the tip of the marker and will not dry out as quickly if you store them caps up. I do this with all my markers and highlighters-my kids know to put them back in containers caps down.
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I purchased your Election Packet from TPT. I love it except the answer key is wrong for the electoral map.
Hello, just came across your cute blog! I am doing inquiry research at the University of Florida about using cell phones in the classroom. Do you use cellphones in the classroom? I am trying to collect data of those who use them or wish they could use them for my inquiry. If you could email me with any information you would be willing to share, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,
Just found your amazing resources at Teachers Notebook. I’m looking forward to continuing to put my insomnia to good and productive use browsing your math products! The transition to Common Core is certainly going to encourage busy future weekends… Again, thanks for the resources and your creative enthusiasm! Caryn
I am feeling a little silly asking this question but how exactly to the foldables work? Do the students write the answers under the foldable so when it is opened they see the anwer? I purchased the decimal foldable from tpt

What are you doing for Pi day this year??? Looking for something new…
I super love your blog! I am interested in creating cutesy assignments and posters using borders/frames, etc. I don’t even know where to get started. I am hoping you could help?
